Concord AI captures meeting audio, video, and text only when a capture method is explicitly started by a user, and always with a visible recording indicator across every capture method — meeting bot, desktop companion, browser, and upload.
Data classification, retention defaults, and deletion behavior are documented internally in docs/DATA_CLASSIFICATION.md and enforced by organization- and meeting-level retention policies. Raw audio, transcripts, and summaries are retained independently and can be exported or deleted on request.
We do not use meeting content to infer emotion, truthfulness, personality, health status, protected traits, or employee performance, and we do not use customer content to train shared models without an explicit, contractually-backed, configurable setting.
